This iPhone Theme Makes It Feel Like You’re Browsing Apple’s Web Store

A beautiful theme can be found easily for your iPhone, but what about a unique iPhone theme ? One of the themes I’ve found in Cydia store and it is different from any iPhone theme you can ever use. Today let me please introduce for you a new recently released iPhone theme called Apple Web OS and as the name suggests, the theme will turn your iPhone into an Apple’s web store…

Apple Web OS is a Dreamboard theme, and when you install the theme on your iPhone you will feel like you are browsing an Apple’s web store.

For those who don’t know how DreamBoard works, it’s a lot like WinterBoard, but way more user-friendly.And from there it only takes a single tap to load them up.

After installing the theme on your iPhone, you’ll notice a huge difference in your iPhone’s home and lockscreen. You’ll see grey tabs at the top that read: Media, Games, Settings and Tools, which all lead to customizable pages, and below that you’ll see all of your apps spread throughout the page as icons, tiles and text links.

As you can see everything looks like you are on Apple’s official web store, the tabs, the interface and more….

But that’s where the compliments stop. I’ve had the theme for a few days now, and I’ve discovered that I can’t leave it on for more than a few minutes without going nuts. Its ‘web store’ design makes it very hard to navigate, and almost impossible to find anything. To give you an idea, I frequently found myself opening the ‘App Shelf’ and scrolling through a list of 200 apps or so just to launch something like Chrome or Messages.

To be honest with you, I’ve used the theme for about 2-3 days and then I quickly removed it, because it is hard to be used and tedious at the same time. The second thing I noticed is navigation between pages is a little hard.

The good news is, it won’t cost you anything to check it out. Apple Web OS is available in Cydia, in the ModMyi repo, for free.
