The iPhone 5S new camera details!

As it was reported, the iPhone 5S comes with a major iSight camera upgrade. It has the new five-element lens that comes with a 15 percent larger sensor compared to the iPhone 5, and larger pixels at 1.5 microns. The aperture is F2.2.

The software of the camera has been significantly improved as well. The stock camera app will now support white balance exposure, and also has capabilities to make ‘autofocus matrix metering’ and ‘dynamic local tone map’ for 15 different zones, all on its own.

The camera also has a feature purported as ‘true flash tone’. There are two LEDs featured – an amber (warm) and a white (cool). The right color balance will be created as the software utilizes both of them. Auto image stabilization is also featured in the camera, and it will be able to take several images, mix light levels for them, and display the crispest and clear one.

Video-recording in slow motion is also in there. As apparent from the slide at Apple’s keynote event, the camera will be able to take 720p HD videos at 120 frames per second and 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.

What do you think about the camera upgrade?
