It was only 10 days ago when Electronic Arts announced that Plants Vs. Zombies 2 had topped 16 million downloads since its August 16th debut on the App Store.
Now EA have stated on their official blog they have reached another milestone… this time crossing 25 million downloads. That is on average nearly 1 million downloads per day since they announced 16 million downloads on August 16th.
The reason of course that Plants Vs. Zombies 2 is seeing so much popularity is because the sequel is free to download and is fuelled by in-app purchases. What is nice about Plans Vs. Zombies 2, however, is you can actually play the game without needing to take advantage of them.
Considering Plants Vs. Zombies 2 hasn’t even been released on other platforms yet, it is going to see some extraordinary success.
