Nike+ FuelBand Finally Available On Android
It might have taken 2 whole years, but the Nike+ FuelBand application is now available inside Google’s Play store
Nike has finally released its Nike+ FuelBand application for Android. The app, now available inside Google Play, brings support for Nike’s wearable FuelBand tech to Android two whole years after it first launched on Apple’s iOS platform.
The Nike+ FuelBand app syncs with the physical FuelBand, collates data and allows you to track your progress on your phone. All of this is done via the magical voodoo that is Bluetooth, and battery life on the wearable Nike units typically last upwards of a week or two with heavy usage.

You’ll need to set up a login for the FuelBand app, but once you’ve done this you’re free to set a number of daily goals, see your full workout history, set up activity reminders and even compare all your stats with other users’ in the NikeFuel leader boards.
So what exactly do you need to get up and running? Pun 100% intended. In order to use the app you’ll need a FuelBand SE – sorry no first generation FuelBand’s here – and to download the app from the Google Play Store, which you can do here.
The app has been optimized for the Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5 as well as the Nexus 5, HTC One and Motorola Moto X. It works with most Android devices though, so head on over to Google Play Store and have a look.
