Motorola’s Moto X, HTC’s One Mini, and Samsung’s Galaxy Mega now available on AT&T

When it rains, it pours. If you’re an AT&T customer, here are three devices that have launched today: Motorola’s famous Moto X. HTC’s One Mini. And Samsung’s Galaxy Mega 6.3. Starting with the “flagship”, which is a funny word considering the Moto X’s specifications, it’s going to cost you $199 with a two year contract. Next in line is the Mega, with an odd $149 price tag. And lastly there’s the One Mini, which is an incredibly reasonable $99.

Which of those three should you buy? If I had to make a choice, I’d go with the Moto X. The HTC One Mini, while cool, is an HTC device, which means software updates are questionable. That and is has just 1 GB of RAM, which is not cool. And as for the Mega, which I reviewed and fell in love with, I fully understand that for most people it’s completely impractical. Nothing would be worse than to buy that phone and find out you can’t the stand the size, but you end up being locked to a two year contract.

So yeah, the Moto X. The 4.7 inch 720p screen is “big enough”, especially considering the bezels are near non-existent. That and since it’s technically a Google phone, it’ll likely get updated for the the length of the device’s lifecycle. And also, you get to pick your own colors, which is just awesome.
