Over the last few days, @evleaks has posted press renders of the black and white Nexus 5 along with its full spec sheet and rumored launch date. Today, he has tweeted that the NExus 5 might be heading to Sprint.
Nearly every aspect of the Nexus 5 has leaked over the last few weeks, including its pictures, full spec sheet and pricing. However, this is the first time that we are hearing that the Nexus 5 will be headed to Sprint.

This news is pretty surprising since Sprint is a CDMA operator. Releasing a Nexus device on a CDMA network means that Google has used some closed source drivers and binaries, which might delay future Android updates to the handset.
Earlier, Google had released the Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus on Sprint but only a few months after it had released the GSM variant of the handset. This will be the first time that the company will bring the device to Sprint on the same day it unveils the GSM variant of the handset.
