[BREAKING] ASUS Comes Out With An “Eee Pad” A Tablet That Runs Windows 7 OS, Video, Pricing and Availability!

Asus just announced and revealed their newest creation, they call it “Eee Pad”. This new gadget looks quite similar to what we have called the iPad.

Eee Pad runs on a CULV processor, with an amazing 10 Hour battery life with Windows 7 running!

ASUS Eee Pad

This device (Eee Pad) from ASUS will come into two models: a 12-inch running Fully functional Windows 7 on a Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and a 10-inch version running Windows embedded Compact 7 with NVIDIA Tegra.  No other major difference between the two models. Both the models will give a full 10 hour battery life one complete charge.

Also, the Eee Pad is to feature a webcam on the front of the device for chatting or video conferencing. Another Great feature is that this device supports USB Ports to connect other devices with Eee Pad.

Pricing:

ASUS has announced that the pricing for this device will range from $399 to $499 a competitive price compared to pricy iPad.

Availability:

Unfortunately, this device will not be available very soon. But we will be able to get out hands on the Eee Pads before the starting of 2011.

The Battle:

We would love to see how this device performs against the iPad and other Android based tablets. I personally would prefer this over the iPad, but lets wait until more details!
