Apple’s iPhone trade up program is now in France, Italy, and Spain

You’re now able to trade up for a new iPhone in France, Italy, and Spain. The company will take old iPhones, Android and Windows phones and set the value of the handsets towards a new iPhone on a 24-month payment plan. Instead of paying the price of the new phone in full, customers will be locked into monthly instalments over the set period.

As reported by MacRumors, this is essentially taking a new iPhone out on finance, so you’ll need to pass a credit check and — as would be expected — the condition of traded in hardware will reflect the value offered by Apple.

You’ll be able to pop into a local store and have a chat with an Apple employee about the available promotion. It’s also reported that this program in France, Italy, and Spain will end in August 2016.
