Apple has just announced that it will be holding its Financial Results Conference Call for Q2 2014 on April 23rd. As always, the call will take place at 2 PM Pacific and 5 PM Eastern Time and will be available via streaming.
During the Q1 earnings call, the company announced that they had sold 51 million iPhones, 26 million iPads, and made $57.6 billion in revenue. For the second quarter, analysts have projected net sales of 38 – 42 million iPhones. A recent report from Forbes suggested that Apple may have crossed the 500 million iPhone sales mark during this quarter. The iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c have both been doing pretty well and sales numbers should be strong.
We’ll have to wait till the said date to know if Apple has indeed exceeded expectations and sold 500 million iPhones.
