As previously rumored Apple has gone ahead and sent out invites for its September 10th press event where we will see the unveiling of the iPhone 5S and likely iPhone 5C. Also on the roster for the event is the public release of iOS 7 and possibly even the next-generation iPad and iPad Mini.
The event will will be held in Cupertino at the company’s headquarters at 10 a.m. PST. This is where the Fruit company announced the iPhone 4S in 2011.
The invitation doesn’t really have any hints as to what Apple plans to announce at the event, besides iOS 7, but as previously mentioned two products we almost certainly know will be unveiled will be the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.
The iPhone 5S is expected to feature a fingerprint scanner within the home button, dual-LED flash, an upgraded processor and of course new color combinations that could include Gold and Graphite. As for the iPhone 5C it has been rumored it will come in multiple colors, have the same internals as the iPhone 5 and be made out of plastic instead of aluminum to keep the price down.
