Having trouble with iTunes in the Cloud? Not to worry, Apple has released a new version of iTunes 11 with a fix for the iTunes in the Cloud issue. This problem caused certain purchases to randomly download media and play them. iTunes 11.0.5 is now out for the public, which fixes this bug.

This update comes almost two months after iTunes 11.0.4. Apple seeded iOS 7 beta 6 to developers yesterday, which also fixed an issue with iTunes in the Cloud. Here’s the release note:

This update corrects an issue with iTunes in the Cloud, where some purchases may download or play unexpected items.

You can download the latest version of iTunes by checking for updates, if you aren’t notified of it automatically. Apple also released iTunes 11.1 beta 2 for developers today, shortly after the iTunes 11.0.5 release.

We’re not sure what’s new with iTunes 11.1 beta 2, but this is the second beta release for iTunes 11.1 so there must be something new. iTunes 11.1 features Apple’s iTunes Radio and some other features. You can download the latest beta from Apple’s Dev Center if you happen to be a developer.
