BlackBerry Messenger Reportedly Landing On iOS June 27

From about a month ago the well known smartphone company BlackBerry announced some great news, the company said that its popular BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) will be coming for iOS and Android devices very soon. The popular messaging app has always been exclusive to BlackBerry.

BlackBerry didn’t give us more details about the time they will land BBM for iOS. But according to T-Mobile UK, it’s going to be landing on them later this month…

Here’s the tweet from T-Mobile UK:
Great news – BlackBerry Messenger will be available to download on iOS and Android from June 27th! :) #BBM twitter.com/TMobileUK/stat…
— T-MOBILE UK (@TMobileUK) June 6, 2013

BusinessInsider’s Steve Kovach isn’t buying it, saying he spoke with a source with “knowledge of BlackBerry’s plans” and the date is not correct. In fact, he says, the source called T-Mobile’s June 27 BBM report “bogus.”

The above tweet from T-Mobile UK is very exclusive and I don’t know why did they do such move. There have been some scattered rumors of a June 27th launch date, but nothing has been confirmed by BlackBerry PR yet.

Whatever the date BBM will be available, it will only be available for iPhone and not for the tablets like iPad… That’s what the CEO of BlackBerry said… So are you excited about BBM or not ?
