How To Take A Screenshot On Amazon Fire Phone
Amazon’s Fire Phone is now out in the US and here’s how to take a screenshot on the device
Amazon has added to its collection of Fire devices with its first smartphone, the Amazon Fire Phone. The likelihood is you know all about that as you’re likely to have one if you’re reading this user guide. So we’ll skip the introductions.
If you want to show off your innovative new phone to all your friends you may want to take some screenshots of the Amazon UI and apps. It can sometimes be a little complicated to do this on some devices but on the Amazon Fire Phone it really couldn’t be simpler.
So lets get stuck in and find out how to take a screenshot on your Amazon Fire Phone.
Find What To Screenshot
First up you want to find something that you want to screenshot. Whether it be a particular level in a game, an example of the UI or a really funny text, open it up. Remember the screenshot is going to show everything visible on the display so make sure you’ve got exactly what you want to show off.
Press The Buttons
To take a screenshot you need to press down the power and volume-down buttons simultaneously. You’ll hear a little click sound when the screenshot has been taken and it’ll be saved onto your Amazon Fire Phone.
Find Your Screenshot
Amazon has made it even easier to find your screenshots than on other handsets. Inside the phone’s gallery there will be a folder clearly marked “Screenshots” and everytime you undertake this process, the results will end up in that one folder for safe keeping.
Use Your Screenshot
Now you can share your screenshot with your friends. Press the share symbol on the top of the screen and you’ll have the option of social networks and other apps you have installed on the phone. Either that or connect your Fire Phone up to your computer and take them off the old fashioned way.
