Google’s convertible Android tablet is cheaper than ever
The Google Pixel C convertible tablet hybrid is getting a bit long in the tooth now, which is probably why Google has seen fit to dramatically reduce its price down to £299 on the UK-facing Play Store’s device section.
This price is for the 64GB storage model only (the 32GB edition was discontinued a while back), and it has been updated to run Android 8 Oreo, making it one of the few tablets on the market with Google’s latest build.
The price is for the tablet only, however, as the keyboard dock still costs extra. This too has been reduced though, down from £119 to £73 – so you’re looking at £372 for the whole package. What we may be looking at here is a stock clearance deal on an older device ahead of the holiday season – it’s out of stock in the US already, so you might want to move fast if you’ve been eyeing up the Pixel C waiting for a price drop.
Don’t let the age of the tablet deter you though, it’s still packing a powerful Nvidia quad-core CPU, an incredibly bright 10.2in display, sleek aluminum build and all the benefits of an optimised Android experience on Google-tailored hardware.
