Where Cards Fall is a new game co-developed by the creators of Alto’s Adventure

In collaboration with The Game Band, Snowman, the developers behind the popular snowboarding game Alto’s Adventure, have announced a new game called Where Cards Fall. The game will ask you to build structures, then destory and then build them again in new ways, with a story being told as you do.

In an interview with The Verge, developers Sam Rosenthal and Ryan Cash elaborated on how the cards interact with the story.

Where Cards Fall doesn’t use cut scenes to tell its story, but instead builds its narrative through the way the various ways the player interacts with the game. “The houses of cards become homes for characters, platforms to traverse, places to visit, and so much more,” Rosenthal explains.
