T-Mobile Adds New Partners to Binge On and Music Freedom, including Nickelodeon and Amazon Music
T-Mobile has officially announced that it has added a handful of new partners to both of the streaming options. For the folks out there streaming music without impacting their monthly high-speed data allotment through Music Freedom, you can now listen to content through Amazon Music, ESPN Radio, Chilltrax, OHIO.FM, Uforia, and PreDanz. With these new additions, T-Mobile says there are over 40 partners for the streaming feature.
And for the video streamers, T-Mobile’s Binge On now supports EPIX, DailyMotion, OVGuide, OWNZONES, YipTV, Nickelodeon, Spike TV, TV Land, 120 Sports, and Viki. The Magenta Carrier says that with Binge On, the feature now covers 70% of all video streamed to subscribers across the network.
T-Mobile offered a few more stats of the new plan features:
- Since Music Freedom launched, T-Mobile customers have streamed 90 billion songs for free.
- Today, T-Mobile customers are streaming 210 million songs every single day without using a drop of high-speed data.
- With Binge On, T-Mobile customers are watching 2x more from free streaming sites on plans with limited data and have streamed over 190 million hours of video for free.
- With Music Freedom and Binge On together, T-Mobile customers have saved over 350 petabytes of high-speed data.
With today’s expansion, more than a hundred services can now stream audio and video for free through T-Mobile’s Binge On and Music Freedom platforms, including Amazon Video, HBO NOW, Hulu, Netflix, SlingTV and YouTube as well as Apple Music, Google Music, Pandora, Rhapsody and Spotify.
Since Music Freedom launched, customers have streamed 90 billion songs for free and are today streaming 210 million songs every day. Binge On and Music Freedom have helped customers save over 350 petabytes of high-speed cellular data.
