New iOS 8 bug in ‘Reset All Settings’ feature deletes iCloud Drive files

According to a brand new report from MacRumors, a brand new iOS 8 bug has been discovered in "Reset all settings" feature and it'll erase all iCloud drives files out of your iPhone. The situation right here is that when the ‘Reset All Settings’ choice is chosen, customers are particularly informed that “no knowledge or media can be deleted.” But that doesn’t appear to be the case with iOS 8, as MacRumors says it has confirmed the method can also be deleting choose files.

The deleted files appears to be be restricted to iWork paperwork, so in case you don’t use these apps, you actually don't have anything to fret about. However, those that do use iWork be warned, as there's not a simple strategy to restore deleted iCloud Drive files with no backup.

For now, we advocate customers to keep away from Reset all settings choice, till we will confirm the difficulty has been fastened.
