Apple Watch stores confirmed for London, Paris and Tokyo
Apple on Friday announced (via iGen.fr) grand opening for Apple Watch stores-within-a-store located in high-end department stores in London, Paris and Tokyo. The company’s UK Retail website confirms that the Selfridges Apple Watch shop will open doors to business on Friday, April 10, at 9am local time.
As expected, all three locations will be stores within larger retail establishments or department stores. The London store will be situated in Selfridges; the Paris store in Galeries Lafayette; and the Tokyo store in Isetan Shinkuku.
The exact location, opening times, and phone numbers for each store are now listed on Apple’s website — alongside a “Grand Opening” graphic that confirms doors will open on Friday, April 10 at 9 a.m. local time.
At which point, shoppers will be able to try on the new Apple Watch options, as well as the various bands, to decide which model is right for them before they pre-order. Apple has said Watch shipments will then begin on April 24.
While these aren’t full-scale Apple Stores, they are expected to be large, significant locations. The Selfridges store will be situated inside the Wonder Room, “a unique destination that plays host to the world’s most desirable brands,” according to its website.

In Galeries Lafayette, at Apple Watch display will span “the width of four full balconies on the second floor in a dramatic arched setting,” 9to5Mac reports. The Isetan store in Tokyo will take up an entire mall location, and will be a permanent fixture.
Apple Watch will initially be on sale in the U.S., the U.K., Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, and Japan.
