Apple Spends $700,000/Year on Tim Cook’s Security

Buried in Apple's "Schedule 14A" document with G.O. Securities and Exchange Commission is the truth that Apple spends just about $700,000 once a year to offer protection to Apple's CEO Tim Cook. Patently Apple noticed the next paragraph within the record:

"This quantity represents: (i) the Company's contributions to Mr. Cook's account beneath its 401(okay) plan within the quantity of $15,600; (ii) Company-paid time period lifestyles insurance coverage rates within the quantity of $2,520; (iii) holiday money-out within the quantity of $56,923; and (iv) safety bills within the quantity of $699,133."
Business Insider notes that $700k is in fact low in comparison to different CEOs. For instance, a 2014 Equilar document discovered that Amazon spent $1.6 million preserving CEO Jeff Bezos protected and Oracle spent $1.5 million on Larry Ellison's safety.
