We are informed this one isn’t a flagship, however it positive seems like one in response to the specifications. The HTC A55 is a Desire phone that turns out a lot just like the upcoming One (M9) Plus. Perhaps it is going to be a plastic model of it with a rather toned down processor

The specifications come with a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) display, a 2.0 GHz 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6795 (versus a Snapdragon 810) processor, 3 GB of RAM, 20 MP rear digital camera, 13 MP or 4 MP Ultra Pixel entrance digital camera, BoomSound, not up to 3,000 mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.1, Android 5.0, and Sense 7.0.

The release date is February 2015, that is even sooner than the March 1st unveiling of the  One (M9) and One (M9) Plus.

The Desire logo is on a regular basis reserved for the low-budget units, however this one seems to be on the higher echelon of that class. We will have to see it at Mobile World, Congress so keep tuned.
