Today, the company has launched two new smartphones called as Lava Flair S1 and Lava V2s in India. The Flair S1 is priced at Rs. 3,799 and comes with all the basic specifications required in a smartphone. On the other hand, the Lava V2s is a decent mid-range selfie-centric smartphone priced at Rs. 7,899. Both the smartphones are available online for purchase and are expected to go on sale via all leading offline platforms across the country soon.

The Flair S1 flaunts a 4.5-inch (854×480 pixels) FWVGA TFT display offering a pixel density of 218ppi and comes powered by an unknown 1.3GHz dual-core processor clubbed with 512MB of RAM. With this low-end chipset and RAM, we cannot expect smooth performance. It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage that can be further expanded using a microSD card slot upto 32GB. It supports dual sim dual standby and comes with basic connectivity options like 2G/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port with OTG functionality.

The Lava V2S comes with decent, impressive specifications and is the slightly toned down variant of the earlier launched Lava Pixel V2. The Lava V2s features a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display with 294ppi as pixel density and comes powered by MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz coupled with Mali-T720 GPU. The smartphone has 2GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage that can be further expanded via an externalSD card slot upto 32GB. The device supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

On the camera cordon, the smartphone comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing shooter for video chats and selfie images. The smartphone also comes with front flash with which we can perfect images even in low-light conditions. It comes with standard connectivity options like 4G/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. The handset powers a 2500mAh battery that can easily take you through the day for a single charge.
