European Parliament will not use Microsoft Outlook apps due to “security issues”

Shortly after it introduced on cellular units, the European Parliament has blocked Microsoft Outlook from inner use. The Microsoft Outlook app, which arrived ultimate week on Android and iOS, has been deemed insecure by way of the federal government’s knowledge generation (IT) division. Why? Apparently, the apps percentage password knowledge with Microsoft and emails are saved in a 3rd-birthday party cloud that the European Parliament does not have get entry to to.

The European Parliament’s IT division, DG ITEC, had this to say in an e mail to workers:

Please do not set up this software, and if in case you have already performed so on your EP company e-mail, please uninstall it instantly and alter your password.
